Simple, clear, high-quality and retro. From the 1920s onwards, porcelain fittings were a common sight in bathrooms, stairwells, cellars and outdoor areas. The Bauhaus style with its timeless practicality is still appealing today, and increasingly so in the home. At ARTYLUX, we have a range of new porcelain lights based on these classic models. The PILL, with its shape reminiscent of a tray capsule, is available in black or white and with a clear glass or satin shade. The luminaires are designed for damp rooms (IP54), but can of course also be used indoors. The porcelain luminaire is also available for indoor use only with an IP20 protection rating and as a wall luminaire.
The housing is made entirely of porcelain and the socket has a metal thread. It is mounted using two screws at the usual 6 cm spacing for flush-mounted boxes.
Please note: We endeavor to always keep sufficient stocks of this series of porcelain lights. Unfortunately, however, there have always been longer delays in delivery from the manufacturer. To be on the safe side, please contact us in advance if you have urgent deadlines and especially if you are ordering several lights. Our store system does not display availability dynamically.
Here you can find all porcelain lights.

Please note: this luminaire is a waterproof model. Therefore, the back of the lamp is completely closed. This means that there is little space for the electrical wiring, as the connection must be made via a (perforated) rubber part with a diameter of 2 cm. It is therefore advisable to work with a (standard) recessed box for mounting the luminaire. Please note that concrete or brick walls do not always allow the installation of a recessed box.
