PERSEO Bulbous clear glass luminaire

PERSEO is a high-quality glass lamp, designed in 2006 by the Italian designers Michele De Lucchi and Alberto Nason. Hand-blown in the traditional manner by Italian glass artists, it combines precision craftsmanship with elegant Italian design.
Available in diameters of 28 and 44 cm and in transparent or opal versions, PERSEO impresses with its timeless aesthetics and poetic lightness. The fine, translucent design is reminiscent of Japanese paper lanterns, while its sculptural effect reveals influences from the artist Isamu Noguchi. The faceted surface gently refracts the light and creates an atmospheric interplay of light and shadow that lends a special atmosphere to any setting.
Thanks to its floating appearance, PERSEO seems almost immaterial – a luminaire that is both unobtrusive and impressive. The artistic production of Murano glass is a process with limited standardization: the pieces are blown individually and are similar but not identical. This uniqueness, typical of hand-blown glass (not industrially molded), creates a product that does not negate the role and function of the craftsmen.
