CASAMBI Bluetooth control for 1-10 volt, push or DALI dimming

The CASAMBI smart home app is widely used. No wonder, as it offers a wide range of functions and interfaces, e.g. to Philips Hue and: CASAMBI modules work without a gateway. This means that devices such as dimmers, motion detectors, 1-10V or DALI control and associated switches communicate directly with each other without the need for expensive base units.

The module offered here for dimming LED luminaires may be necessary if an LED luminaire is controlled with 0-10 Volt, 1-10 Volt, PUSH or DALI technology, but only a 3-pole supply cable to the luminaire is available.This very small Bluetooth module fits into the smallest of cavities, often in the canopy or the housing for an LED power supply unit or even in the body of the luminaire. The radio contact is reliable and is not completely blocked even by metal housings, at most the range is slightly limited. In our experience, there are no problems within a room.

In addition to APP control, the module can also be set up to call up scenes via the normal light switch. This allows you to set the light to previously set values, e.g. 100, 60 and 30% power, by switching it on and off several times. Or you can switch the dimmer up and down several times and stop at the desired value with another quick off/on sequence. So you don't necessarily have to use the APP, even if it opens up many other possibilities such as: complex timer programs, switching on according to the solar calendar and much more.

A range of switches are also available for the CASAMBI network. We have a simple 2 or 4-channel push-button for sticking to the wall in stock. By pressing the button, the device generates enough power to send the signal to the module and is therefore completely cable-free and maintenance-free.
